Notes
Read all instructions before beginning.
Make 4 squares if following the 2022 Stitch Together Official Blanket Stitch-A-Thon
Gauge (save time and check your gauge!)
15 sc by 18 rows = 4″ square (gauge is measured after blocking)
Special Stitches
Cluster (cl): (yarn over insert in st indicated, pull up a loop) 3 times, yarn over, pull through all loops.
2022 Stitch Together Blanket Stitch-A-Thon Square 1 Free Crochet Pattern Instructions
Ch 26
Row 1 (ws): Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, turn. –25
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Row 5: Ch 1, sc, *cl, sc 2, repeat from * across, turn.
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Row 7: Ch 1, sc 2, cl, *sc 2, cl; repeat from * across until 1 st remains, sc in the last, turn.
Rows 8-12: Repeat row 6.
Rows 13-28 : Repeat rows 5-12.
Fasten off.
