Crochet Every Way Stitch Dictionary Book Review and Giveaway
The Crochet Every Way Stitch Dictionary is a brand new book by Dora Ohrenstein. I was pleasantly surprised by this hefty book because it isn’t just any stitch dictionary. Not only does it have 125 stitches but each stitch is presented in a very unique way.

Each of the 125 stitches in this book has 3 parts. The basic pattern, edge shaping increasing and decreasing and internal shaping. Each stitch also has written instructions, charted instructions, number of stitches and rows in the pattern repeat, the multiple and weather its reversible or not. Phew! That’s a lot! It’s the most thorough stitch dictionary I’ve ever read. I can see how it would be helpful for designers as well as the hobbyist wanting to create their own projects.
Dora has also included instructions on how to read charts which could be really helpful if that’s something new to you.
I personally really enjoyed the first few pages of the book. Here Dora gives detailed instructions on how to use the book. It’s full of all kind of useful info! She explains what stitch patterns are and how to use the stitch dictionary in a practical way.
I have to say I’m really impressed with this book. I think it would make a great addition to any crocheters library and you have a chance to win a copy here!
