Adna Cowl Crochet Pattern | KT and the Squid
While browsing Plymouth Yarns new yarns I came across Merino Textura and had to try it. After staring at it for a few days I came up with this cowl/shawl hybrid. I’ve been making a bunch of these lately but this was actually my first. I’m calling it the Adna Cowl

The cowl starts off like a circular shawl and then is worked in the round to make it a cowl. I really like that these cowls take surprisingly little yarn but they look very full. All the fabric is in the front which also makes them more comfortable to wear.
To make the cowl you will need 2 hanks of Plymouth Merino Textura. This yarn was really fun to work with. It’s a thick/thin 2 ply yarn that gives the cowl a wonderful texture. It also blocks beautifully! You will also need an H hook (or hook to obtain gauge) and 6 stitch markers (scrap yarn works best in my opinion).
