Instructions

Round 1: In magic ring ch 3 (counts as a dc from here on) and make 11 dc in the ring join. (12sts)
Round 2: Ch 3, fptr in the same st, (dc, fptr) in each st around, join. (24sts)
Round 3: Ch 3, (dc, fptr) in next, *dc in next, (dc, fptr) in next; repeat from * around, join. (36sts)
Round 4: Ch 3, dc in next (dc, fptr) in next, *dc in the next 2, (dc, fptr) in the next; repeat from * around, join. (48sts)
Round 5: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), *dc4tog, ch 4; repeat from * around, join. (12sts and 12 ch-4 spaces)
Round 6: Change color, ch 1, sc in the 1st dc4tog, sc 5 times in the next ch-4 space, sc in the next dc4tog, sc 5 times in the next ch-4 space; repeat from * around, join. (72sts)
Round 7: Ch 2 (counts as a hdc), *fptr around the dc4tog of round 5, hdc in the next 6; repeat from * until 5 sts remain, hdc in the last 5, join. (84sts)
Round 8: Ch 3, *(2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in next, dc in the next 3, hdc in the next 3, sc in the next 8, hdc in the next 3, dc in the next 3; repeat from * omitting the last dc, join. (96sts and 4 ch-2 spaces)
Round 9: Change color, ch 3, *fptr in next, dc in next, (2dc, ch 2, 2dc) in the ch-2 space, dc n next, fptr in next, dc in next, ch 2, (dc3tog over the next 3, ch, 2) 6 times, dc in next; repeat from around omitting the last dc in the last repeat, join. (64sts and 32 ch-2 spaces)
Round 10: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), *(fptr in the next, dc in the next) twice, (2dc, ch 2, 2dc) in the ch-2 space, (dc in the next, fptr in the next) twice, (dc, ch 1, dc) in each of the next 7 ch-2 spaces; Repeat from * around, join to the first fptr.
