This tank top didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted but I love it! My original vision was completely different but that’s ok since I think this is much cuter and more practical.
The contrasting color happened by accident. As I was working up my first sample I ran out of my main color so I used a different color because I was too impatient to run to the store. After I re-did it with all one color I realized I liked it more with the contrasting color in the front.
For my samples I used Red Heart Soft (worsted weight yarn) and an H hook. The top has about 2″ of ease so it should be a bit form fitting.
The great thing about this top is it works up super fast. I finished the girls size 4 in about a day and the women’s size small in a couple evenings.
I have written the pattern up in too different sizes. One for girls (4-12) and one for women (XS-XL)
